    The Sonance family of brands is on pace to double in size over the next five years, and Sonance's greatest asset it's people will be the key driver of our shared success Our open position, Quality Engineer, will be based out of our Minden, NV facility.

    As a Quality Engineer with a focus on processes, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include analyzing processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing process controls, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for quality improvement.
    • Develop and implement process controls to ensure product quality and consistency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
    • Design and conduct experiments to optimize process parameters and improve product performance.
    • Monitor process performance using statistical tools and techniques.
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for process-related issues.
    • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
    • Provide training and support to production teams on process-related topics.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience in process engineering or quality engineering roles.
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
    • Proficiency in statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Detail-oriented and results-driven.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • Previous experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or similar roles in a manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of quality system standards such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management (TQM).
    • Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality data tools.
    • Understanding of process engineering software, principles, and methodologies.
    • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
    • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
