- Chick-fil-A is looking for a Menu Sr. Project Consultant to lead menu, team member simplification, and equipment projects from start to finish.
- This role requires strong communication, cross-functional influence, and project management skills.
- Projects will involve new product development, menu streamlining, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
- Project Management:
- Support menu and packaging development projects from start to finish.
- Effectively lead projects to keep stakeholders informed and maintain Restaurant Operator and customer satisfaction.
- Assist Principal Category Leaders with project scope, category strategy, project timelines, and more.
- Create internal and external communications and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for annual business planning and budgeting.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in a team environment.
- Strategy & Development:
- Participate in developing menu items for category growth while preserving quality and market share.
- Collaborate with teams to innovate new menu items and improve existing ones.
- Manage menu strategy to align with organizational needs.
- Work with Supply Chain to understand supplier capabilities.
- Understand specifications and system requirements.
- Competence Development:
- Stay updated with industry trends and market insights.
- Have a strong understanding of historical and competitive market trends.
- Engage in key meetings for design development and launch.
- Lead the staffing process for menu and packaging functions.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of experience in product development, brand management, or related fields
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in facilitating group meetings, decision-making, and plan execution
- Ability to influence across multiple levels in an organization
- Interpersonal skills and collaboration across functional groups
- Expertise in project management, systems, and product development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management Tools
- Desire to learn industry trends
- Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively or independently
- 7+ years of experience in product development or related fields
- Master's of Business Administration (MBA)
- Restaurant experience preferred
- 5 years minimum
- 30%
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
