    Overview Of The Underwriting Analyst

    Cornerstone Staffing is partnered with a financial stable & growing insurance company who is adding to their Underwriting Department.

    The Underwriting Analyst will evaluate risk for Workers' Compensation, Business owners', Commercial Auto, Professional Liability, and Umbrella policies for small businesses.

    Responsibilities Of The Underwriting Analyst

    Utilize company criteria and protocols to evaluate risk among many lines of business
    Perform independent verification of insured's operations
    Review and process change requests
    Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives and processes
    Participate in projects as assigned

    Qualifications for the Underwriting Analyst

    Computer savvy and investigation/research abilities
    Bachelor's degree required
    Analytical abilities
    Attention to detail
    Research skills
    Time-management

    Schedule of the Underwriting Analyst

    M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility on start/end time, at manager's discretion
    Hybrid schedule includes 2 days in office and 3 days at home. Schedule Flips weekly
    Training would be 100% in person but then transition to a Hybrid work model.

    Compensation of the Underwriting Analyst

    $20-$22/hr. DOE.
