- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Experience pulling and routing low voltage cable in a commercial environment preferred
- Terminating phone jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
- Performing appropriate labeling of all installed equipment cable
- Complete the assigned tasks safely and to company standards of quality and professionalism.
- Physical agility to climb overhead structures and willingness to work at heights up to 15 feet as well as the ability to use ladders .
- Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.
- Certifications and/or formal training in any of the above listed items is highly preferred
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft office programs
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
- This person must be willing to submit to a criminal background check, no felonies in the past 7 years and no convictions that are theft related.
- This person must have a clean cut appearance, no visible tattoos (including sleeves) or piercings are allowed.
- This person must have parking available to take a company vehicle home every day

DescriptionDue to expansion we are currently seeking a Cable Technician for our Verticomm division on our telecommunications team. The cable technician is responsible for service calls and project work regarding pulling low voltage voice and data cable for our clients. You may also install interior and/ or exterior perimitor camera systems and building access control systems. Experience installing building access systems is highly preferred. You will communicate the status of work orders to the client and respective Supervisor.
You will be provided a laptop, cell phone allowance, travel expense reimbersement, a gas and maintenance card and company vehicle and will be responsible for maintaining accurate vehicle stock and inventory count. Our Denver teams are currently traveling overnight one week per month. All other daily travel is local.
We offer a competitive hourly rate between $25-$30 per hour based on experience, and a full benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, 3 weeks of pto, 7 paid holidays, long and short term disability, company paid life insurance and a 401k with a generous company match. We also sponsor multiple events throughout the year including a golf outing, happy hour events, volunteer events, and periodic company meetings and social gatherings in our rooftop terrace lounge that employees may also enjoy after work, we have an on site gym and underground parking.
