St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Laconia, NH, is a 51-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire's continuum of care. We are a 5-star facility and a proud recipient of the Pinnacle Customer Service Experience Award for overall satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a full-time or per-diem cook. Full time will be scheduled 4 shifts per week with every other weekend required. We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus for full-time

Cook Job Responsibilities

· Review menus prior to preparation of food

· Process diet changes and new diets as received from the nursing supervisor, when necessary

· Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance

· Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as our established policies and procedures

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

· ServSafe Certification (strongly preferred)

· Must possess at least one year's experience in a health related or food service facility, preferably in a long-term care setting

· Must have knowledge of sanitary procedures
