Radiology Technologist - Medina Hospital

+ Radiology Technologists use x-ray equipment to obtain images of the body interpreted by a Radiologist and are responsible for preparing patients for the exam. The ideal future caregiver should have graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology and be registered as a technologist and in good standing.

Key responsibilities include performing general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures; producing quality images with accuracy and without delay; acquiring, archiving transmitting printing images via PACS; ensuring patient comfort safety during after the exam; educating patients regarding procedures equipment exams to ensure understanding cooperation maintaining documentation addressing equipment malfunctions notifying management reporting malfunctions to the help desk PACS administrator assisting with scheduling procedures monitoring determining priority patients processing billing.
