- Lead the implementation and sustainment of Lean thinking, principles, and practices.
- Identify opportunities to integrate Lean accounting practices to support operational initiatives and demonstrate financial impact.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve key performance metrics across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Financial performance.
- Build workforce capability in Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Challenge conventional approaches and drive a culture of accountability and operational discipline.
- Partner with executive manufacturing leadership to develop and execute the annual operating budget.
- Ensure initiatives are reflected in standard costs, operating plans, and financial forecasts.
- Monitor monthly financial performance and project progress against plan.
- Identify and execute cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities.
- Support oversight of site-level P&L performance.
- Evaluate and prioritize projects and programs that improve operational and financial metrics.
- Lead multiple, concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Drive execution of business plans aligned with enterprise objectives.
- Ensure capital and operational projects deliver measurable results.
- Provide strong, visible leadership across manufacturing, technical, and administrative teams.
- Coach and mentor managers and frontline leaders to build organizational capability.
- Foster open, candid communication and encourage thoughtful challenge before decisions are finalized.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and safety-first accountability.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in multi-site manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record of Lean Manufacturing implementation and measurable results.
- Experience managing large-scale manufacturing projects and operational budgets.
- Direct experience with P&L oversight and financial performance accountability.
- Extensive background in industrial or heavy manufacturing settings.
- Strong operational and financial acumen.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.

- Base salary up to $210,000 (flexible based on experience)
- 40% target annual bonus

Position Summary
The Assistant General Manager – Manufacturing serves as a senior operational leader within a large, complex industrial manufacturing site. This role partners closely with executive manufacturing leadership to drive operational excellence, financial performance, safety, quality, and delivery performance across the facility.
The Assistant General Manager plays a critical role in translating strategic objectives into operational execution, ensuring initiatives are embedded in operating plans, cost structures, financial forecasts, and measurable performance metrics.
This position requires significant multi-site manufacturing leadership experience and a proven ability to drive Lean transformation within large industrial environments.
