- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair milling, crushing, water treatment, and camp facilities.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of synchronous generators and power generation equipment.
- Experience with low, medium voltage circuits and variable frequency drives.
- Install and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems and all components.
- Familiar with Allen Bradley programmable controllers and Wonderware Intouch HMI.
- Plan and complete work based on company guidelines for safety, environmental compliance, and general work practices and procedures.
- Responsible for pre-shift inspection of work areas and equipment, and responds appropriately.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Plan and implement electrical construction as part of expansion projects.
- Employees must comply with all company policies including, but not limited to attendance, safety, environmental, and HR policies. Employees are responsible for understanding and complying with the Environment, Health, Safety and Social Responsibility Policy. Employees must protect the environment and their own safety, as well as those around them.
- This is a 2 week on / 2 weeks off rotational position.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements: - Ability to work safe and promote safe behavior in others.
- Five years underground or surface mining electrical experience preferred.
- Electrical Journeyman certification preferred.
- MSHA Electrical certification.
- PLC programming, troubleshooting and repair experience required.
- Must have own hand tools.
- Sets high standards for self and others, builds trust and takes accountability.
- Preference given to Alaskan residents.
