    Description
    Bachelor's Degree

    TN Nursing Home Administrator's license or able to obtain within a specified time period.


    Primary purpose is to direct the overall operations of the heath and rehab center ( post acute care) in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.


    Other position specific essential functions:

    planning, building team work, supporting key management, willingness to try new work methods and offer constructive feedback, develops methods for coordination of nursing home services with all other departments to ensure continuity and quality of care.

    Maintain good working relationships with physicians and medical providers. Assists with resolution of complaints. Assures excellent customer service is maintained by all staff. Counsels and disciplines staff as needed.

    Assists in recruiting and retaining staff. Assists with marketing and growth of the census of the facility. Assure the productivity standards are within guidelines. Maintains a positive attitude and shows a commitment to coworkers. Skilled at communication with staff, residents, and families and other departments of the hospital.
