    Role Description:


    The Intermediate Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer will design and implement complex simulations of air, missile, and space warfare systems, working with experienced M&S developers in a team, moving quickly to leadership roles based on experience and demonstrated abilities.

    The initial activities encompass activity from requirements development to product testing. Customer interaction is a vital aspect of this job as understanding of M&S and EADSIM.

    The primary skill-set for this work is the ability to translate systems and their supporting technologies into models allowing evaluation of those systems in the full context of the battlefield as presented in EADSIM.

    We are continuing development of the Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM). EADSIM is a simulation of air, missile and space warfare.

    EADSIM incorporates use-driven capabilities with a proven, rapid-response capability to develop and support the model to meet evolving user needs.

    The broad gamut of battlefield technologies and interactions of those technologies makes the tool a rich environment for evaluating new technologies.


    • Software maintenance to included bug fixes, documentation, version testing, algorithmic changes (speed up processes).
    • Working on enhancements to the EADSIM program.
    • Development is performed in Windows and Linux environments.
    • Potential for customer support of EADSIM.

    Qualifications:

    Clearance:
    Secret

    Education :
    Bachelors degree of science in engineering or scientific field of study.

    Experience:

    • Preferred 5 years of relevant experience
    • Development is performed in Windows and Linux environments.
    • Tools used Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, Filemaker Pro, WinMerge, GDB.
    • Knowledge of C++, C, FORTRAN, Linux.
    Applies science and/or engineering techniques to develop economical solutions to technical problems.
    Specifies functional requirements, designs solutions, tests system/components, analyzes designs, and integrates components.
    Evaluates overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
