    Job Description:

    Mental Health Tech - 37.5hrs/wk (3p-11p)

    $2500 sign on bonus

    The Psychiatric Counselor is responsible for milieu management, patient assignment, checks and leading groups in our 20-bed adult psychiatric services unit.

    Must possess verbal and written skills to communicate effectively and courteously with a diverse group of professional and non-professional members of the health care team, patients and family/significant others.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma Required and a bachelor's degree in psychology or related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
    • At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting is preferred.
    • C.P.I. Certification provided during orientation program. BLS certification required.
