Hardware Design Engineer, MidAs an electronics engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to building critical systems that perform reliably and safely. At Booz Allen, you'll use your engineering skills to transform defense and national security. You'll directly impact Navy and Marine Corps clients by performing system-level design analysis including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance as well as developing hardware design specifications based on requirements or concept sketches.
3+ years of experience with electronics or hardwareExperience with digital and analog circuit design
Experience with electronic components found in modern systems, to include Integrated Circuit, FPGAs and ASIC technologies
Experience preparing and reviewing input to major technical reports, status reports, letters, technical memoranda, contract reports and formal briefings
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Hardware Engineering
Knowledge of Anti-tamper, failure analysis, radiation hardening, reverse engineering, semiconductor analysis, semiconductor foundries
Knowledge of SoC FPGA design or other high-speed interfaces
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree in EE, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering preferred; Doctorate degree in EE, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering a plus
Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.Our people-first culture prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely.
