    Senior SQL Report Developer


    Description:


    A Senior SQL Report Developer is responsible to participate in the analysis, build, and test of software components for data migration solutions.

    Responsible for developing SQL databases and writing applications to interface with SQL databases. Development often consists of designing tables, storing procedures, views, and functions.

    Must have an expertise in writing and analyzing the SQL language being tasked with developing and maintaining systems to store, organize, and access data
    Responsible for developing high-quality dataset solutions and researching required data
    Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables and analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
    Suggest new queries and develop procedures and scripts for data migration
    Incorporate aspects of computer programming, software engineering, and data architecture and management
    Optimize SQL statements for data access and retention and perform regular database management.


    Qualifications:


    Desires the knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to 6 years of college (Masters Degree preferred) with significant course work in computer science or directly related technical fields, supplemented by evaluation of at least 6 years of professional experience in Senior SQL Report Development for large, web-based applications.

    It would be particularly beneficial for a Senior SQL Report Developer to have skills, training, and/or experience in any or all of the following areas:

    Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer:
    Data Management and Analytics
    Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate
    Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)
    SQL Certified Developer Certification
