    Job Requirements

    Education Requirements:
     Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.

    Certifications Requirements:
     OT Certification, Texas License, BLS Certification (or equivalent).

    Experience Requirements:
     Minimum of one year of OT experience, experience in long-term care setting preferred, familiar with therapy documentation systems.

    Other Requirements:
     Ability to maintain productivity of 90%, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills.

    Job Responsibilities

    Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in long-term care settings, including assessments, treatment planning, and intervention implementation.
    Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and COTA's to develop and adjust care plans tailored to patient needs.
    Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes using Net Health and Point Click Care systems.
    Monitor patient response to therapy and modify interventions as necessary to optimize results.
    Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and home programs to support continued progress.
