    Pacific International has been retained by a high-growth and innovative leader in the semiconductor and power electronics space. They have retained us to identify a Director of Supply Chain to lead and redefine the function across the entire business. This position demands a strong people leader who can navigate complex business growth, develop teams, and ensure compliance with high standards.

    Role responsibilities:

    • Develops and implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run efficiently and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
    • Inventory management for multiple locations and optimization including cash flow.
    • Proactively manage the capacity planning process
    • Oversee production planning and scheduling; communicate adjustments as necessary.
    • Direct material purchasing and cost-out programs and projects.
    • Manage the analyzing of production specifications, plant capacity data and oversee the calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools and resource requirements.
    • Partner with production, engineering and vendor/supplier to ensure product launches are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Display excellent communication, project and time management skills.
    • Develop strategic sourcing team, process and procedures.

    Background and qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferably with specialization in Logistics, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Management
    • 10 to 15 years of progressive experience within Supply Chain in manufacturing
    • Deep knowledge of the managed sub-functions and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
    • Hands-on experience managing and optimizing inventory (Levels, Reduction, Cycle Counts, Controls, Storage)
    • Thorough understanding of the production planning and scheduling process
    • A working knowledge of lean manufacturing, 6S, continuous improvement processes, and cost-out is required.
    • Must possess significant analytical skills and demonstrate consistent logic, rationality, and objectivity in decision making and recommendations.
    • Results-orientated individual with excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead in a rapidly changing, intense and demanding environment.
