Job Title: Senior Manager, Product Management and Marketing A little bit about our team: Warner Music Group Global Catalog is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, creative product manager to join our team. We are a tight-knit, high-performing group that oversees the catalogs of several hundred artists. We are looking for a new team member who can help us function effectively, efficiently, and creatively This product manager role is for someone who understands that the product manager is the engine that helps get both physical and digital products out the door and into consumers' hands and ears, and knows how to generate noise around artists with established fan bases. Our team specializes in Warner's esteemed artists who signed to the label more than 20 years ago, spanning genres from soul, R&B, jazz, and hip-hop to classic rock and pop. Your role: The role of the Senior Manager, Product Management and Marketing centers around catalog artist development, overseeing the product pipeline, and crafting strategic assets to support marketing campaigns. In this role, you will develop authoritative proficiency in the catalog of Warner Music Group's Recorded Music division with a focus on Atlantic, Elektra, and Warner Records artists whose careers launched more than 20 years ago You will work to increase exposure for artists and drive revenue by finding opportunities for re-issues, anniversary albums, and digital releases, and creating marketing campaigns to support anniversaries, tours, and other marketplace initiatives, highlighting opportunities for incremental growth, sharpening and implementing standard methodologies across your roster, and growing internal awareness of the value of our artists' catalogs in an "always-on" marketplace. This role reports to the Senior Director, Global Catalog Development and Marketing out of Los Angeles. Here you'll get to:
    • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Global Catalog Development and Marketing to develop and implement global campaigns and strategies for catalog priorities across Pop, Hip Hop, R&B, Dance/Electronic, Rock, Alternative, Hard Rock, Latin, and Country genres.
    • Become an expert in the history of each artist on your roster and the landscape of the genre they occupy. This includes their overall brand, past releases, marketing campaigns, social media presence, fanbase consumption habits, chart performance, and more.
    • Find opportunities, research trends, and communicate and collaborate with other internal departments to drive projects forward including A&R opportunities for new releases, relevant re-issues, and landmark anniversaries.
    • Identify viral moments and build quick-strike marketing campaigns that capitalize quickly on such opportunities.
    • Drive catalog marketing initiatives for active priority artists in line with anniversaries and associated landmark events throughout the artist's career.
    • Develop and manage marketing budgets
    • Create and deliver regular updates to all interested parties, highlighting campaign performance and growth opportunities that align with our strategic goals.
    • Run post-mortem analysis on marketing initiatives to evaluate successes and failures, and continue to develop standard methodologies to apply moving forward.
    • Develop and build social content and digital marketing tools for use across social networks and streaming platforms.
    • Survey current consumption charts and reports to identify catalog opportunities, and craft ideas to capitalize on them.
    About you:
    • Able to multi-task, ensure meticulous attention to detail, prioritize and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
    • Have excellent research skills
    • Able to work well independently, take initiative, identify potential issues & successfully problem-solve with sound business deliverables
    • Proficient in Google enterprise platforms (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc), along with a high curiosity about learning new software programs
    • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a hybrid environment
    • Able to commute to the downtown Los Angeles office a minimum of four times a week
    • Be willing to challenge the status quo and understand the need to evolve traditional marketing techniques for the modern, "always-on" world.
    • Have strong interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills
    • Possess a deep understanding of the modern digital world and social media trends
    We'd love it if you also had:
    • High school level education or its equivalent, including and/or augmented by additional course work, preferably at the college level, in business administration or a related field
    • 3+ years of highly relevant experience, preferably at a record label
