About The Role

This is not a sales position; our financial counselors host pre-scheduled appointments with members. We're searching for financial professionals who have a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals. We provide full-spectrum financial counseling and education, and we are specifically interested in CPAs or Enrolled Agents to guide members through tax planning. We serve a wide range of corporations and organizations across both the public and private sectors. We are currently looking to expand our pool of financial counselors, with a particular need for individuals who have prior military experience or a strong background in supporting military service members and their families. Our financial counselors love being part of our experienced and professional team. We hold each other accountable for high standards and continuous development. • Flexible and available to work a varied schedule from Monday to Friday between 4:00 am and 7:00 pm PT, with availability to work one weekend a month.

What You Bring To The Table

• 4-year degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience) as well as 2+ years experience in consumer finance or tax work (mortgages, insurance, college planning, financial aid, investments, retirement planning, estate planning, tax structuring and planning, etc.)
• Enrolled Agent, CPA, Tax Agent, or comparable certifications (preferred)
• Previous military experience or experience supporting military service members (preferred)
• Proven track record persuading clients to engage in value-added services and solutions
• Motivational skills to inspire behavioral change around personal financial habits
• Superlative listening skills that lead you to empathy and understanding
• A high level of skill and comfort with technology
• An openness to a culture of continuous development and improvement
• A passion for helping people in need

• Due to the nature of the contract we are hiring for, U.S. Citizenship is required for this specific role.
• Ability to travel on occasion may be required.
