Job summary
We are seeking a Commercial Superintendent to oversee interior and ground-up construction projects across the region (San Antonio and Austin). The firm values strong communication, leadership presence, and the ability to maintain calm, collaborative jobsite environments above all else.The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects ensuring safety quality and schedule adherence. This position requires an effective communicator who can manage subcontractors interact professionally with hospital staff represent the GC with poise confidence Key Responsibilities Lead daily field operations for healthcare construction projects Manage subcontractor coordination sequencing productivity Enforce safety protocols maintain a clean organized jobsite Build strong working relationships with hospital staff clients design teams trade partners Conduct daily reports site walkthroughs regular OAC coordination meetings Maintain project documentation logs inspections field communications Support project scheduling anticipate impacts milestones Ensure quality control throughout all phases of the project Help create a jobsite culture built on professionalism accountability teamwork
- Bachelors degree is a plus Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field.
- Experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong communication skills calm professional presence.
- Ableity to collaborate effectively with owners architects subcontractors medical staff.
- Proficiency with construction technology Procore Bluebeam scheduling software
- Willingness to relocate if not currently based in DFW preferred but not required.
