    Job Description
    Position Purpose

    The EA team's vision statement is to "Ensure that the business can meet it's strategic goals through a holistic set of technology & data capabilities, built collaboratively, at the right time and cost to operate the business efficiently".

    Sitting within our Information & Technology division, you will

    focus on end to end services . You'll apply standards and frameworks, impact of tech changes, and create roadmaps for overarching digital delivery.

    This role will suit individuals who have experience within service architecture in a business continuity setting, with an emphasis on developing strategies and solutions to minimise service disruption, i.e.

    disaster recovery, performance issues, risk

    management/assessment.
    Major/Key Accountabilities
    Supports Business Strategy and Guides Execution

    Proactively identify and helps Brambles respond to disruptive forces.

    Understand the business's strategic, operational, economic and financial levers that are susceptible to disruption & transformation to effectively guide investment decisions.

    Leads the analysis of business and operating models, market trends and the technology industry to determine their potential impact on the enterprise's business strategy, direction, and technology & data architecture.

    Provide perspective on the readiness of the organization to change and innovate through scenario planning techniques in support of the business strategy.

    Construct future- and current-state business & technology models.

    Facilitates business and I&T alignment through a collaborative, supportive and consultative manner, driving the organization's strategies and balancing innovation with growth.

    Translate and guide execution of business strategy to achieve the organization's targeted business outcomes by developing end-to-end technology roadmaps across platforms and products.

    Construct technology-enabled business and operating models and provides viable options and visibility into execution issues.
    Build and Maintain Relationships


    Build the EA value proposition, contributing to positioning the EA practice as an internal management consultancy, offering services and skills to support the development and execution of business strategy.

    Develop a portfolio of EA services, designed to meet business and stakeholder needs.

    Provides consultative advice to business leaders and stakeholders who seek recommendations to make investment decisions, using technology to make that change happen.

    Lead and facilitate interaction with business leaders, platform owners, product managers and product owners over the risks and implications of technology decisions to the line of business and wider enterprise.

    Lead a collaborative community of architects and works with a strategic committee to guide transformation and resolve any conflicts IT delivery and enterprise business outcomes.

    Orchestrate the Delivery of Business Outcomes

    Ensure that the EA artefacts and engagements enable the execution of business strategy.
    Work with business leaders to identify key drivers and targeted business outcomes to derive useful business context.

    Analyse the business' future-state capabilities and evolving IT environment to detect critical gaps and opportunities and recommend solutions for improvement to drive the business towards its targeted outcomes.

    Ensure that the EA organizational design process leads to a more efficient and effective business and IT operating model, significantly improved results (e.g., profitability, customer service, internal operations), and EA resources empowered and committed to the integration of business and IT.

    Support I&T Portfolio Execution


    Maintain the alignment, integration and coordination of architecture activities and key decision making processes across different programs, projects and products as they evolve over time.

    Present gap analyses and/or IT investment roadmaps that reflect the status of the Technology Services portfolio, namely, its ability to contribute to future-state business capabilities around ecosystems and digital platforms.

    Lead analysis of the I&T environment to detect critical risks and recommend mitigation plans.

    Develop and apply architectural impact assessments, which can include a set of standards, reference architecture patterns, principles and guardrails, through the technology architecture governance model, which is informed by the business strategy and corporate governance.

    Facilitate a collaborative relationship across architecture community by providing self service decision making capabilities.

    Collaborate with delivery portfolios and platform teams to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture, as well as to leverage shared technologies, tools and processes that impact speed to value and time to market.

    Maintain knowledge repository to track the impact, design and delivery of business & technology capabilities in the enterprise
    Skills, Knowledge and Experience

    Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.

    Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.
    Ideally, familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models, and frameworks.

    Broad insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.

    Understanding of various operating models such as project-centric and product-centric and also different types of I&T delivery principles, methodologies and frameworks.

    Awareness of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments.
    Understands and speaks the language of the business.

    Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

    A strong background in I&T design, delivery, and business engagement.

    Three or more years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis or experience as an architecture consultant.

    Three or more years of experience in at multiple I&T disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field, Masters preferred or equivalent combination of

    education/experience.
    TOGAF foundation or practitioner
