Job summary
The purpose for this position is to provide clean and safe City parks, zoo and recreation facilities. This is accomplished through monitoring park usage in accordance with park policies and city ordinance.This position may be required to assist with lawn care, landscaping, trash collection, sports field maintenance,
equipment maintenance,
educational/recreational instruction,
cabin and restroom cleaning,
general building and grounds maintenance of parks,
sports fields
,beaches playgrounds ball diamonds set up takedown heavy lifting involved snow removal operations when necessary while on duty.
Park Rangers are expected to use sound judgement to ensure a safe environment is maintained.
