Our work depends on this role to maintain HRSA's Hosting, Network, Security, Server, Identity and Access Management, and Tier II Operations in support of the HRSA mission.

24x7x365 infrastructure operations support serving in on-call rotation

Hybrid Environment (Azure and on-prem) / Experience in Azure required

Working within team for successful completion of all tasks within the Statement of Work for assigned area of responsibility

That includes:
Network, Security, DNS, DHCP, VOIP, Identity and Access Management, and Server Operations.

Will review monitoring tools to identify trends and proactive identification of potential customer impacting events.

Recommending changes to processes or procedures to improve efficiency or reduce costs in future projects.

Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software with IT infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'

LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Systems Engineer Junior

Bachelor's degree in related field. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.

2+ years of related experience

1+ years of experience working in a Hybrid (Azure/On-Prem)

Application hosting environment with technologies such as:
o Storage and Backup Systems Engineering

o Administration

o Patch Management

o Vulnerability Remediation

o Security Compliance

o Performance Monitoring/Tuning

o NetAPP

o Veritas NetBackup

o CDOT

Demonstrated ability to support a 24x7x365 environment and work in on-call rotation with ability to respond to Rockville or Sterling Data Center

Systems Engineer Mid Level

Bachelor's degree in related field. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.

6+ years of related experience

3+ years of experience working in a Hybrid (Azure/On-Prem)

Application hosting environment with technologies such as:
o Storage and Backup Systems Engineering

o Administration

o Patch Management

o Vulnerability Remediation

o Security Compliance

o Performance Monitoring/Tuning

o NetAPP

o Veritas NetBackup

o CDOT

Demonstrated ability to support a 24x7x365 environment and work in on-call rotation with ability to respond to Rockville or Sterling Data Center

Systems Engineer Senior

Bachelor's degree in related field. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.

10+ years of related experience

6+ years of experience working in a Hybrid (Azure/On-Prem)

Application hosting environment technologies such as:
o Storage and Backup Systems Engineering

o Administration

o Patch Management

o Vulnerability Remediation

o Security Compliance

o Performance Monitoring/Tuning

o NetAPP

o Veritas NetBackup

o CDOT

Demonstrated ability to support a 24x7x365 environment and work in on-call rotation with ability to respond to Rockville or Sterling Data Center

Desired skills:

Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow

Demonstrated experience with SolarWinds

Demonstrated experience with Brocade SAN

Clearance:

Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
