- Lead and oversee commercial construction projects in San Antonio, managing all aspects of on-site construction activities from start to finish.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met in terms of schedule, budget, and quality.
- Develop and implement detailed project schedules, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely completion of milestones.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular site inspections and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
- Manage project budgets and expenses, tracking costs, analyzing variances, and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
- Maintain open communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor on-site construction teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure work is performed to the highest standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects in San Antonio, ranging from $5M to $20M in value.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
