Position Summary:

Responsible for conducting routine laboratory tests across different lab sections.

Reports to: Supervisor or Manager

FLSA: Non-exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform standard testing procedures and analyze test results
• Conduct instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Execute quality control tests
• Manage necessary supplies for testing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in medical technology, chemical, physical, or biological science

Required Skills:

• Must possess critical thinking abilities and work well independently
• Proficiency in working under pressure and making sound decisions

Licenses:

Valid Driver License (Donor Services dept only)

Certifications:

Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

ASCP or equivalent registry
