Job summary

School Psychologists at Special School District (SSD) support students by helping schools understand their academic, social and emotional needs. They lead the special education evaluation process conduct formal and informal assessments chair eligibility conferences to ensure decisions are data-based and aligned with Missouri DESE criteria. They work with school teams to implement and monitor evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions designed to support students at all levels of need.
