    POsition SUmmary


    In this position, you will be hands on in assembling, utilizing machinery to assemble, make alterations to product to prepare for assembly, labeling, and/or packinging products in accordance with quality standards.

    As you grow, you will get to cross train in a variety of Assembly position to support the needs of the business.

    Key role responsibilities


    Work individually or part of team to assemble, utilizie machinery to assemble, utilize machinery to prepare products for assembly, fill, kit, prepare, label, and/or package an entire product or component of a product according to Work Instructions.

    Completes work based on specifications, drawings, job routings, and/or Work Instructions.

    Utilizes machinery to assist in assembly process.

    Able to adjust process and escalate process non-conformancies, in order to meet quality and production specifications

    Maintains machinery, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the operation.

    Meets established safety, quality, performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.

    Records accurate information on Manufacturing Order and performs transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.

    Helps to drive improvements surrounding all applicable safety procedures, quality specifications, and 5S Standards.

    Reports and helps to resolve adverse conditions, non-conforming products/procedures, and 5S violations to department leader in accordance to escalation procedure.


    In accordance with escalation procedure, notifies team leader or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning safety, quality, equipment, machinery, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.

    Demonstrates flexibility by performing rotational assignments as needed.

    Provides continuous improvement recommendations as well as participates actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.

    May be asked to provide training for new employees or employees needing cross training

    qualifications and experience

    High School diploma or equivalent

    2-5 years Manufacturing or Production work experience.

    Bend, squat down, and reach above your head

    Climb stairs and ladders

    Lift and carry at least 25 pounds

    Work in confined spaces

    Ability to work in a fast-paced; multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines.

    Identify, escalate, and assist in resolution of non-conforming process, product, or environmental issues

    Ability to work with a team and train others as a part of an agile and flexible workforce

    Good verbal and written communication with positive attitude

    Detail-oriented and able to identify discrepancies with parts, process, or paperwork
