- Master's degree in psychology, social work, school psychology or another related field required
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required
- Experience working with English language learners
- Experience serving students with Special Needs in a K-8 bilingual setting
- Ability to handle confidential information discretely and professionally
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an urban setting or in a charter school setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Assess students' cognitive abilities using a variety of instruments and techniques that are appropriate for the individual student
- Apply sound principles of data-based decision making to all aspects of practice (e.g., designing intervention, monitoring student progress, consulting with school administrators
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work, communicate, and collaborate effectively with teachers, other school staff, and families as part of a team within the school setting
- Provide direct services to individuals or groups of students (e.g., counseling, crisis interventions, mentoring, and individual safety plans, when appropriate)
- Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and the individualized education program (IEP) committee contributing to evaluation findings and collaborating on the child's education plan
- Submit records, reports and IEP documents promptly and efficiently
- Deals with obstacles and constraints positively
- Maintains compliant IEPS, including service tracking and reports progress accordingly to parents and team members

The Opportunity
The School Psychologist will help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally through valid and timely assessment and high-quality Individualized Education Program documents and reports.
They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students.
The School Psychologist will work with children across sites in grades PK through 12th.Essential Functions
