    Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now (WFN) to manage payroll processes efficiently and accurately. The Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll for our organization.

    Responsibilities

    1. Payroll Processing Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll for a high volume of employees accurately and efficiently.
    2. Timekeeping Management Oversee timekeeping systems to ensure accurate recording of employee hours and adherence to company policies.
    3. Data Management Maintain employee payroll data in ADP WFN, including new hires, terminations, changes in status, and tax withholding information.
    4. Compliance Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and ensure compliance in payroll processing.
    5. Benefits Administration Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including deductions and contributions, as they relate to payroll.
    6. Reporting Generate and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments, including finance and HR, as needed.
    7. Problem Resolution Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
    8. Customer Service Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.
    9. Documentation Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payroll processing and compliance.
    10. Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in payroll processing.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a high-volume environment.
    • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required.
    • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling payroll information.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
    • Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
    • Prior experience in benefits administration.
