    Position Responsibilities :
    • Product/Model PCP (Process Control Plan) development and maintenance.
    • Facilitate cross-functional Preventative & Corrective action plans based on internal and external quality results. (Yield, Warranty, and or customer PPM) failure analysis on customer returns to ensure quick turnaround time and responsiveness.
    • Mentor cross-functional teams (Process/Product Improvement teams) teams for effective "root cause analysis, and corrective and preventative action. This position will include the training of other groups on a routine basis.
    • Coordination of customer visits.
    • QA portion of APQP (PPAP) on product launches.
    • Resolving critical issues/situations ensuring that they are handled correctly and within current policy/procedure guidelines.
    • Quality representative in Lean activities.
    Position Qualifications :
    • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, technology, or physical science discipline
    • 3-5 years of proven manufacturing engineering experience driving process integration and process improvement.
    • Must have proven experience leading and improving a manufacturing process working both independently and in teams.
    • Practical knowledge of engineering mechanics, physics, hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, machine design/operation, and computer software.
    • A thorough understanding of the operational theory and principles of operation of automatic transmissions and internal combustion engines.
    • 3+ years of experience with assembly of complex mechanical assemblies is required.
    • 3+ years of Lean manufacturing operational theory, principles, and tools are required.
    • 3+ years of experience prioritizing and assigning tasks, and accurately estimating the time and costs required for project completion.
    • Experience in creating, developing, adapting, and communicating tool design concepts based on input from internal and external customers using advanced design tools (ACAD) and techniques a plus.

    REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
    If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days , depending on customer payment terms.
