- Set up and perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and environment.
- Set up laboratory equipment and conduct testing on customer products.
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and minor repairs to instrumentation/equipment.
- Perform routine housekeeping including cleaning of equipment and lab areas.
- Maintain, store and properly dispose of materials as needed.
- Responsible for receiving and shipping of equipment.
- Demonstrate safe work practices in accordance with laboratory and company policies.
- Perform daily and periodic verifications of test equipment.
- Assist the engineering staff in lab related duties.
- Record test results and describing procedures used.
- Be capable of reading and understanding schematics and manufacturing/testing instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of proper laboratory techniques and protocols.
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of test equipment.
- Interact effectively with internal team members across the organization.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Computer literacy required including Microsoft Office applications.
- Office and laboratory environments.
- Work may include standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting associated with shipping and receiving, 50 lbs.
- Personal Computer
- Various lab test equipment
- Ability to travel to client and/or other TUV locations as required (less than 5%); requires Valid Driver's license.
