    SUMMARY

    • Set up and perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures.
    • Maintain laboratory equipment and environment.
    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Set up laboratory equipment and conduct testing on customer products.
    • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and minor repairs to instrumentation/equipment.
    • Perform routine housekeeping including cleaning of equipment and lab areas.
    • Maintain, store and properly dispose of materials as needed.
    • Responsible for receiving and shipping of equipment.
    • Demonstrate safe work practices in accordance with laboratory and company policies.
    • Perform daily and periodic verifications of test equipment.
    • Assist the engineering staff in lab related duties.
    • Record test results and describing procedures used.
    • Be capable of reading and understanding schematics and manufacturing/testing instructions.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities
    • Knowledge of proper laboratory techniques and protocols.
    • Knowledge of operation and maintenance of test equipment.
    • Interact effectively with internal team members across the organization.
    Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent education
    Experience
    • Computer literacy required including Microsoft Office applications.
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
    • Office and laboratory environments.
    • Work may include standing for long periods of time.
    • Lifting associated with shipping and receiving, 50 lbs.

    Travel Required
    • Ability to travel to client and/or other TUV locations as required (less than 5%); requires Valid Driver's license.
