- The student will perform data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scale RFID deployments.
- The team responsibilities include RFID tagging items in a retail environment and then doing tests with a RFID reader to determine the quality and readability of the tags.
- Students will also be performing in-store barcode/inventory audits.
- Students may occasionally participate in in-lab demonstrations and testing
- Students may occasionally travel to partner locations outside of the Auburn/Opelika area
- Enrolled student at Auburn University
- Must have reliable transportation to and from partner locations outside of regular business hours
- Must have ability to work weekday evenings
- Technically capable with ability to quickly become familiar with new hardware, software, and processes.
