    General Description


    The Data Analyst is a crucial member of our company's data team responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large sets of data to extract valuable insights and inform decision-making.

    Working closely with various stakeholders, including business managers, project teams, and senior leadership, the Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in transforming raw data into meaningful information that drives business strategies and improvements.

    ESSENTIAL jOB FUNCTIONS

    Data Aggregation and Analysis:
    Gather data from various sources and functional areas, ensuring its accuracy and integrity. Utilize statistical methods and tools to perform thorough data analysis, uncovering valuable insights into business trends and opportunities.

    Reporting and Querying:
    Generate reports and write queries to supply data for analytical projects, facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organization.

    Root Cause Analysis and

    Process Improvements:

    Interpret data findings to identify root causes of business challenges, enabling the identification of areas for process enhancements and improvements.


    Presentations and Communication:
    Develop engaging and informative presentations to effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders and senior management.

    Data Collection Systems and Strategies:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement efficient data collection systems and strategies.

    Additionally, contribute to the development of programs and solutions, such as applications and software, to enhance data management and analysis processes.

    Qualitative Data and

    End User Training:
    Work with qualitative data alongside quantitative data, broadening the scope of your analytical contributions. Provide end-user training on new or revised procedures for business intelligence solutions, processes, and systems.

    Business-IT Liaison:
    Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to understand and gather business requirements. Identify any gaps in the existing infrastructure and propose solutions to align with business needs.

    EDUCATION AND DIRECT Work experience

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.

    Proven experience in data analysis and statistical methodologies.

    Proficiency in data querying and reporting tools.

    Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.

    Experience in developing and implementing data collection systems and strategies is a plus.

    Familiarity with qualitative data analysis is an advantage.

    Knowledge of business intelligence tools and practices.

    Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
