    Do you have a passion for safeguarding critical systems, a proven track record in IT security, and prior or current experience working at NASA? If so, we're looking for a Security and Vulnerability Support Specialist to contribute to groundbreaking missions at NASA's Glenn Research Center.

    • Play a vital role in protecting NASA's Glenn Research Center from cyber threats.
    • Oversee and support vulnerability management activities, ensuring systems are secure and compliant with industry standards.
    • Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans to address security weaknesses.
    • Stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices.
    • Collaborate with IT staff and security professionals to maintain a robust security posture.

    To be successful, you will have:

    • Experience in vulnerability management tools and processes.
    • A strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with colleagues and the ability to adapt to both team-oriented projects and independent assignments.
    • A demonstrated commitment to security and compliance.

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Experience working in a government or research environment.
    • Knowledge of specific security standards relevant to NASA (e.g., NIST SP
    • Bachelors Degree in technical cybersecurity field plus 6 years of experience or 8-10 years experience.
    • Security+ Certification or similar cybersecurity certification.
    • CISSP Certification.
    • Secret Clearance.

    Salary Range:

    $120,000-$140,000 USD (Based on skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials)
