San Diego, CA Full-time with benefits $42,000 - $50,000 annually

As Academic Experience Manager you will support, students to have the best academic experience of their lives The hallmarks of success in this role are passion, customer service mindset, solution driven, and goal oriented with attention to detail.
As we are working in a very fast-paced environment, we are looking for a self-starter who can apply their previous knowledge and experience to continue the successful growth and development of the school.
The responsibilities of the role include:Answer student questions and address student concerns or complaints through reactive and proactive communication
Provide support, coaching and guidance to teachers, based on student feedback and special needs
Conduct meetings, sessions and focus groups with students to collect and provide information at different stages of the student journey
Counsel students on strategies for learning improvement and provide advice and a friendly ear (as needed)
Focus on student satisfaction and drive projects intended to improve this important KPI
Collaborate with team members on special projects related to curriculum development and student leadership
Attend weekly team meetings to provide status updates
Assist in other center-related projects, such as teacher outreach, data collection, and engagement initiatives
Qualifications and competencies
~ Authorized to work in the United States
TESOL certified (CELTA or similar) is essential and a Master's degree in TESOL or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years' teaching experience to adult students in an ESL environment
Confidence and outstanding written/verbal professional communication skills
Ability to create a welcoming environment and build rapport with students
Excellent planning and organization skills, with good attention to detail
Strong leadership skills and ability motivate a diverse and experienced teaching team.
Cool under pressure - willing and able to take charge in an emergency, think and react quickly to daily surprises, comfortable with a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
