Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve invoice issues working closely with other departments/warehousesRoute received invoices for proper approval prior to paymentEnter payable information into the Companys general ledgerProcess payments (checks/wires)
Solve vendor payment issuesIn charge of month end close and financial statementsPrepare general ledger entries by maintaining supporting recordsProvide accurate and timely reports including financial analysis and operational metricsManage weekly cash flow and Bank reconciliationResponsible for sales taxAssist with annual financial audit and statutory auditsAssist with monthly, quarterly and annual close processesMaintain fixed asset databaseResolve expense report discrepancies in compliance with corporate guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedRequirements and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Accounting5+ years work experience in General Accountant levelExcellent Excel skills including pivot table, V-look upExperience using Microsoft Suite tools: Word, PowerPoint, TeamsCross functional collaboration skills with high level of communicationDetailed oriented, able to multitask and prioritize workloads with competing deadlinesSelf-motivated, quick learner, thrive in a fast-pace environment, team playerHigh attention to detailExperienced in International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS)
