    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong Da Vinci robot skills and prior travel experience for a hospital-based setting.

    Responsibilities
    Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital outpatient department (HOPD), not an ambulatory surgery center
    Typical schedule is 3x12 hour shifts, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    Includes one weekend of call per six weeks
    Care covers all service lines except heart, vascular, and total joint
    Patient cases include general, urology, plastics, minor ortho, ENT, and GYN
    May be floated to the Main OR as needed for volume, staffing relief, and case turnover
    Responsibilities include circulating, room turnover, pulling cases, and supply management including stocking rooms
    Candidates are expected to handle a variety of surgical service lines excluding heart, vascular, and total joints
    Role may require assisting in different areas of the OR based on staffing needs

    Requirements
    Active RN license for LA or compact state required
    Previous travel nursing experience is mandatory
    Strong experience with Da Vinci X robot required
    Experience with general, urology, and plastics surgeries required
    No local candidates accepted
