The ControllerSpecific Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all accounting Policy and SEC reporting with emphasis on GAAP and SEC compliance; Preparation and review of 10-Qs, 10-Ks including Research, preparation and implementation of accounting position papers including implementation of accounting policies and procedures relating to the Financial Statements and internal controls.
Performance and supervision of the monthly close process for the Company which includes but is not limited to:Must currently, or within the last six months have prepared and managed a 10K or 10Q filing including preparing footnotes, populating numbers, and drafting footnotes.
Must be able to run the full process independently from start to finish with little supervision.Must in the last six months have prepared and drafted technical accounting memos working directly with external auditors and advising management / CFOMust be an expert in GAAP and SEC reporting and be up to date on all new guidanceMust be currently supervising at least three-five direct reportsMust currently be supervising and directing the monthly close process (in charge, not just participating)Must have experience preparing and presenting monthly and quarterly financial results to CEO/CFO and C-suite managementManagement and supervision of Share Based CompensationSOX compliance, Main contact for both internal and external auditors in GAAP and SOX audits relating to the Financial StatementsManagement of Government complianceGross to Net accounting and related reservesEducation and Experience A bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or business with a minimum of 7+ years of related finance and accounting experience; C.P.A.
