Job Overview:

Gas Operations is focused on ensuring the safe and reliable flow of natural gas to customers. This includes planning, engineering, maintenance, construction, restoration, and emergency response.

Position Summary:

This job involves installing and maintaining gas distribution systems. Responsibilities include leak investigations, welding, and patrolling mains. A valid California Driver's License is required.

This position falls under DOT regulations and may require drug/alcohol screening. Hourly wage starts at $64.31.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installs and maintains gas distribution systems
• Performs welding and cutting tasks
• Works on gas transmission systems
• Participates in emergency operations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class C California Driver's License
• Ability to obtain Class A License Permit within 3 months
• Completion of welding apprenticeship program or 5 years of experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a Journeyman Fitter or Welder
• 5 years of pipeline welding experience
• Preference for applicants living within 50 miles of the headquarters
• Military background

Pre-Employment Testing:
