    Job Description

    Purpose & Scope:
    Responsible for the overall management of a physician office 3 plus providers and greater than 1 geographic location. Provides operational management of the department, revenue cycle management, supervision of staff, facility management, and support to physicians. Works closely with Director of Operations and Lead Physician to plan, direct, and coordinate all non-patient care activities.

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in business, management, healthcare administration, in a related field is preferred or equivalent experience is required.

    Experience:
    Three years of medical office experience is required.

    Administrative:
    Works in a

    well-lighted/ventilated

    office setting. Subject to frequent interruptions. Willing to work beyond normal working hours when requested to do so. Minimal occupational exposure to infectious diseases, blood borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, noxious odors, latex, or musculoskeletal injuries. May encounter patients, family members, co-workers, and visitors under all conditions, e.g. hostile and/or emotionally upset.
