    Description

    JOB SUMMARY
    The Tax Senior will be working under the general supervision of the tax management team and other senior staff.

    This position assists the tax team with the company's annual provision, federal and state tax compliance, and other tax matters.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Assist in the annual tax provision.
    • Prepare and review federal, state income & franchise tax returns and related workpaper support.
    • Prepare and review fixed asset reconciliations and review additions for accuracy.
    • Prepare schedules and perform analysis supporting company's compliance with international taxation Forms 5471/8858, foreign tax credit, Subpart F, etc.
    • Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations and extension calculations.
    • Assist in federal and state income tax controversy matters.
    • Respond to notices from various state tax jurisdictions.
    • Respond to tax questions from other departments and groups.
    • Provide support for on-going projects.
    • Perform tax research and analysis when required.
    SUPPLEMENTAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

    ANNUAL SALARY:
    $75, $95,000.00 / Depending on Experience
    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in progress in accounting, finance, taxation, or business-related field required.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate taxation or accounting preferred.
    • Good knowledge and understanding of ASC 740 and GAAP.
    • Detail oriented, well organized with strong analytical skills.
    • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to manage multiple projects effectively and works well in a team environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel.
    • Must be able to travel to the office a minimum of 3 times per week
