CSB of Middle Georgia is located in Dublin, Georgia, and the agency currently serves residents of Bleckley, Dodge, Johnson, Laurens, Montgomery, Pulaski, Telfair, Treutlen, Wheeler, and Wilcox counties in Georgia; and in our Ogeechee Behavioral Health Division, serving residents of Burke, Emanuel, Glascock, Jefferson, Jenkins, and Screven counties in Georgia. Location: Eastman, Georgia (in-person)

Responsibilities/Duties:

Under direct supervision and ongoing administrative overseeing, provides counseling to clients and families as appropriate to the position using evidenced-based interventions as needed and appropriate per diagnosis and session content
Prepares treatment plans, biopsychosocial, discharge plans, required screenings and assessments, per governing and regulatory bodies, and follow-up care programs
Provides therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
Collects data about patients through interview, case history, and/or observational techniques; evaluates data to identify causes of problems and to determine proper therapeutic approach or referral to other specialists.
Provides casework management of a specialized caseload, as appropriate to the individual position's requirements; performs research and case assessments; prepares individualized studies for admission, placement, and/or discharge, as applicable.
Provides and/or arranges for therapeutic interventions as appropriate for patients or clients in a crisis condition and for those with serious disturbance problems.
Follows up to determine reliability and validity of treatment used; makes recommendations regarding modification to services and service delivery.
Consults with other legal and treatment agencies and individuals in relation to patient/client records, rights, and responsibilities.
Consults with other therapists and related professional and paraprofessional staff, as appropriate, in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework; refers clients to appropriate service agencies as required.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Rule and all CSBMG agency protocols will apply for all applicants with status consisting of Associate Professional Counselors and/or applicants who hold a master's degree from a program primarily counseling in content, meeting requirements for licensure for either a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinicla Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Requirements include:

Must have earned a Master's degree or working toward a Master's degree from an institution which adheres to State of Georgia Rule

40 Hour Work Week
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
