    Description

    EMT Basic

    The EMT-Basic is a vital member of the pre-hospital medical team, responsible for providing basic life support to patients in emergency situations. This includes conducting patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, and stabilizing patients for transport to medical facilities.

    Essential Functions:

    • Recognize and respond to medical emergencies with appropriate differential diagnosis.
    • Prioritize care based on patient needs and circumstances.

    In addition to these core responsibilities, EMT-Basics may also be required to perform tasks such as cleaning and maintaining equipment,
    transporting patients safely in vehicles under various conditions,
    operating ambulances within safe speed limits.

    Maintaining Professionalism:


    The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills when working
    with hospital staff physicians victims & assist in all phases of rescue operations-activities.
