About the JobThe ITC Electrical Technologies Journeymen are responsible for installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of electrical equipment and systems to the highest quality standards dictated by our field Foreman and industry standards.

You'll be accountable for Your personnel responsibilities includeKnowledge and experience with Oil and Gas Industry ProcessesFollow and promote EH&S Safety StandardsInstalling quality work in a neat and workman like mannerWorking as a team member and coordinating with others to ensure a safe and productive work environmentInstructing and training Apprentices to install, maintain and repair electrical apparatus and equipmentHaving a clear understanding of the National Electrical Code and reading blueprintsProfessionalism with members of the team and customersOther Journeyman activities includeAssembling and installing electrical parts and piecesAppropriately diagnosing malfunctions in systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and take appropriate steps to correct the problemInstalling raceways, pulling wire and mounting equipmentProficiency with drawings, control drawings and troubleshooting control systemsUsing the National Electrical Code, electrical formulas and other reference documentation to size pipe, conductors, overload and short circuit protectionYou will also be part of a collaborative office team.
