    Position Overview


    Kiewit Industrial Group is seeking a Mid-Level BIM Coordinator the candidate will play a critical role in enhancing project efficiency and coordination through the effective implementation of BIM/VDC processes.

    Your expertise in Revit, clash detection, modeling, and Navisworks will be instrumental in driving project success.


    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Revit with at least 2 years of full-time Revit experience, 2+ years of professional experience in Navisworks and BIM360/ACC, and be proficient in Autodesk and Microsoft products.

    Additionally, they will need to have a good understanding of design documentation and data exchange.

    Responsibilities

    Support the advancement of firmwide BIM practices and workflows
    Help develop and maintain BIM content for centralized asset management
    Identify opportunities for the development of custom applications and automated processes
    Create BIM related Policies/Processes/Procedures/Checklists/Templates/Quick Guides
    Maintain, understand, and enforce governing BIM standards
    Communicate any changes of BIM standards to project and discipline teams
    Communicate project BIM requirements to both internal and external teams
    Maintain users and permissions within CDEs, i.e., BIM 360 and on premises Drives
    Setup and enforce folder structures and naming conventions
    Maintain and verify 3rd party and vendor models and reference files
    Assist design staff with model related issues
    Work with discipline leads to maintain consistency across projects, coordinate alternate approaches as project needs change.
    Integrate third party libraries and tools into design and delivery workflows
    Perform scheduled interdisciplinary clash detections
    Develop and manage BIM Coordination schedules with project team

    Qualifications

    5+ years professional experience in Revit with at least 2 years of full time Revit experience
    2+ years professional experience in Navisworks and Autodesk Docs
    Proficient in Autodesk and Microsoft products
    Knowledgeable in 3D coordination with all trades
    Knowledge of construction processes and procedures
    Ability to read and understand Construction Documents and Submittals
    Excellent organizational and communication skills
    A passion for precision and accuracy in all aspects of work product
    Understanding of basic computer skills (ex. folder structure, emails & attachments, keyboard shortcuts)
