    Are you interested in growing a career in alternative fuels?

    EPG ) is currently seeking a full-time Field Engineer for one of our partners that is in the clean energy sector.

    In this position, you will play a pivotal role in assisting fleets to minimize their carbon footprint and meet environmental sustainability objectives.

    As a primary point of contact for the company's customers, you'll be an expert in their fuel system technology.

    Responsibilities


    Keeping the connection strong between the engineering and field service teams by ensuring that all engineering documentation, technical bulletins, and customer-specific requests/changes remain accurate and current.

    Cultivating and sustaining client relationships, ensuring timely responses to engineering inquiries.

    Conducting diagnostics and possessing the capability to analyze the root causes of malfunctioning components.

    Gaining expertise in the company's system, as well as its diverse electrical, software, and hardware components.

    Mastering particular engine and chassis specifications.

    Verifying that system installations are executed accurately according to customer-specific drawings and models.


    Reading, interpreting, and applying relevant technical drawings, schematics, electrical diagrams, and manuals to carry out system installations, troubleshooting, and repairs effectively.

    Being capable of making technical decisions based on specific engine and chassis requirements.

    Conducting necessary system testing once the project is finished.

    Being capable of conducting advanced diagnostics independently.

    Developing installation and maintenance documents tailored to specific engines and chassis for both internal and external use.


    Maintaining an open and friendly line of communication with customers to offer troubleshooting and technical support through phone, email, or face-to-face interactions.

    Ensuring that all customer requirements are met efficiently and reliably.

    Investigating and addressing technical issues by utilizing internal and external information and resources.

    Requirements

    3+ years of heavy automotive engineering and diagnostic experience.

    2-year Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.

    Intimate knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems

    Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair.

    Ability to comprehend detailed product schematics and documentation, and follow complex work instructions.

    Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office and/or GSuite.

    Experience with 3D Modelling software.


    Demonstrated strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner with both coworkers and customers.

    Ability and willingness to work with other team members to solve problems.

    Proven track record of working independently and under pressure, with little to no supervision when necessary.

    Ability to create and keep to timelines and deadlines, and prioritize the workload without direct supervision.

    Strong attention to detail.

    Strong sense of pride in work quality and customer satisfaction.

    Comfortable with frequent physical activity such as bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting tools, parts, and materials (up to 70lbs).

    Able to work in a variety of environments, including but not limited to: office, outdoor, warehouse, and shop conditions.

    Ability to work around a variety of particulates, lubricants, and chemicals.

    Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

    Willing to travel domestically as required up to 75% of the time
