    The Marsh McLennan Process Architecture Group Head will lead a team of 7-15+ Full Time Employees (FTEs) focused on documenting, analyzing, and re-designing key processes across functions and business units to realize efficiencies. This role is responsible for selecting process improvement projects, managing dedicated project teams, and overseeing execution to maximize benefits. It is a highly visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders. This leader reports to the Marsh McLennan Chief Information Officer (CIO).

    Responsibilities


    •Establish team org structure and governance


    •Lead identification, prioritization, and selection of projects in coordination with required stakeholders


    •Lead project staffing and team capacity management


    •Work closely with project teams, advise on business case development and solution design, and monitor overall project delivery and quality


    •Work closely with process stakeholders across MMC as a thought leader on process re-engineering and continuous improvement


    •Oversee project delivery and performance versus savings targets


    •Provide updates and escalate key risks as needed to relevant stakeholders (e.g., process owners, Corporate Operations Head)


    •Oversee development and socialization of continuous improvement methodologies and tools across the organization


    •Prepare and manage team budget


    •Prepare and execute on recruiting and training plans

    Knowledge and skills


    Global, large-scale experience: Demonstrated ability to run large scale teams and process improvement related initiatives in global organization


    Executive leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team and foster a culture of change & transformation. Passionate about driving a diverse and inclusive environment. Promotes and recognizes individual and cultural differences


    Team management: Ability to manage and develop large teams (15+ resources) across different locations


    Process engineering methodologies: Experience with established process engineering / improvement methodologies including Business Process Management, Value Stream Mapping, and Lean, Six Sigma; relevant certifications (e.g., LSS Green/Black Belt) preferred


    Analytical thinking and problem solving: Experience supporting businesses/ functions in problem solving, strategy and solution design


    Business understanding: Understanding of insurance lifecycle, broking, benefits management, and management consulting


    Project pipeline oversight: Ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives end-to-end including establishing timelines and milestones, monitoring progress, managing risks, and communicating with senior leadership


    Automation / digitization experience: Demonstrated ability to significantly disrupt operations through the delivery of advanced automation / digital solutions


    Change management: Experience running large change programs in a complex matrixed organization and ability to work alongside business leaders to solve complex execution challenges


    10+ years of experience leading or executing process improvement initiatives. Experience working closely with IT organization (preferred)

    The applicable base salary range for this role is $129,800 to $289,000.

    The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
