- Conduct detailed patient assessments, including history taking, vital signs, and physical examinations.
- Triage patients effectively, prioritizing care based on severity.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Execute emergency medical procedures, such as CPR and wound management.
- Manage and maintain emergency medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, cardiac monitors).
- Support patients and families emotionally and provide necessary health education.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care and treatment.
- Work collaboratively with a broad team of healthcare professionals to ensure exemplary patient care.
- Uphold a sterile and safe environment in the ED at all times.
- Active and unencumbered RN license in California.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an acute care emergency department.
- Supervisory experience in the ED is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and quick decision-making skills.
- Exceptional ability to communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Robust capability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and compassion.
- Must hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
