Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
The HR Technology Specialist collaborates with teams and clients to maximize the value of HR technologies, particularly focusing on the Learning Tool to ensure it meets or exceeds user requirements with designed processes, reports, and service levels. This role serves as a key contact for specific systems and processes, providing support in system configuration, process administration, reporting, data integration, system upgrades, and ongoing process improvement.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate production support for assigned system(s), identifying and resolving problems as well as performing scheduled activities and engaging vendors when necessary.
- Collaborate with process owners to identify process and reporting enhancements, leading projects to implement system configuration changes and providing training and change management.
- Maintain and utilize various queries with reporting tools to evaluate process and system effectiveness, ensuring compliance and delivering valuable insights to management.
- Keep process maps and a data dictionary updated, ensuring data accuracy and integrity through qualitative and quantitative analysis and assisting with enterprise reporting.
- Propose process and service improvements, along with innovative solutions for review by process owners.
- Create and maintain user procedures, guidelines, and training materials, delivering training to users and supporting other analysts.
- Guide process owners in optimizing system usage and ensuring efficient operation, alongside coaching IT Help Desk staff.
- Oversee system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operational activities.
- Communicate system or process changes clearly to users with diverse technical expertise.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Learning Tool to recommend system configuration adjustments, working alongside HR Systems and IT teams as necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proficient in Learning and Performance applications.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to find effective solutions to issues.
- Experience in system implementations and change management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proven time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years of related experience is required.
OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, matrixed team environment.
- Familiarity with SQR, SQL, and PeopleSoft Query is preferred.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Experience in system configuration, testing, and validation.
- Willingness to lead positive change and influence desired outcomes.
