    The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Delaware Park is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing.

    RN Duties:

    • Management responsibilities include maintaining exceptional quality of care.
    • Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
    • Serve the nursing needs of all residents in the facility.
    • Assist in creating and directing care plans for nursing services.
    • Maintain and disseminate knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
    • Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.
    • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff.
    • Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.
    • Assist the Director of Nursing with daily responsibilities.

    RN Requirements:

    • A current New York State RN license is required.
    • At least three years' experience in Long-Term Care settings are necessary.
    • Staff training with clinical staff is mandatory.
    • Excellent Communication Skills are essential.
    • Evidence of advanced leadership skills and supervision is expected.
