- Graduate from anaccredited school of professional nursing. BSNpreferred.
- Currentstate licensure as Registered Nurse(RN).
- Proof of Basic LifeSupport (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must bepresented upon hire.
- Requirescritical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to workwith minimalsupervision.
- Must be able towork in a stressful environment and take appropriateaction.
- Minimumone year current acute care RN experience in a hospital settingrequired for acute care settings.

On our H81 Complex Medical Care andClose Observation unit, you will be caring for adult patients withcomplex multi-system failure issues, such as congestive heartfailure and sepsis. This unit also has a closed observation pod,where you will be looking after patients who need an extra level ofcare. Many of our patients also require ongoing cardiac monitoring,so you will be trained in Cardiac Dysrhythmia and EKGinterpretation.

· Can critically think and problemsolve for patients' best interests.
· Can provideemotional, spiritual, and psychological support topatients.
In this unit, youwill learn, grow and develop:
· Caregivers see awide variety of cases and diagnoses each shift.
·Receive opportunity and support to obtain various nursingcertifications.
· See the impact you make onpatients, as they progress and return home.
·Staff is supported by clinical instructors and clinical nursespecialists, who provide ongoingeducation.
In this unit,caregivers are part of a strong team:
· Nurseswork together to treat patients with a full range ofdiagnoses.
· Team works cohesively and even getstogether after hours.
