    Description

    Job Title

    We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Designer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the layout and design of customer projects for manufacturing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process customer projects for design/layout using best manufacturing principles.
    • Layout customer drawings for processing on lasers, punch, waterjet, and press breaks.
    • Collaborate with project managers to ensure customer requirements are met.
    • Ensure timely and proper document flow to other areas of the organization for both internal and external customers.
    • Contribute to process improvement activities for manufacturing.

    Requirements:

    • Familiarity with basic manufacturing principles in sheet metal.
    • Strong blueprint reading skills.
    • Proficiency in Solidworks or other 3-D Software.
    • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in fabrication or machining.
    • Able to read and interpret drawings.
    • Good references with excellent work attendance and attitude.

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
